Nutritional Counseling

Nutritional Counseling

In the same way we move energy through the body by dancing, walking, doing yoga or qi gong there is also a way of moving and balancing energy in the body through food.  Consciously eating and listening to the body using all six senses informs you what your body is asking for.
The best diet you can follow is one that is unique to your needs.  Your needs may change depending on the season, how you feel on a particular day, what is occurring in your work, relationships, activities.   Your body knows exactly what it wants and what it needs every moment of your life. The messages are there all the time and are different than cravings. The more you tune in to your body the more this information will feel worthy of your trust, just as worthy if not more as the information you receive from books, articles, teachers, and healers.

Nutritional counseling will help guide you toward discovering what nutritional plan is most indicated for your body’s needs keeping in mind cooking and eating habits, medical issues, digestive health, nutritional requirements, potential food sensitivities, and genetics.  Together we will incorporate changes that bring simplicity to meal planning and ignite your passion for eating well.

A whole-foods approach to nutrition is used with a focused use of nutritional supplements when needed.
